What You Will Learn in TrainingWe will cover the basic atomic structure of materials to understand the significance of the electron in the electrical process. We will explore the basic series and parallel circuits and characteristics. You will be introduced to the basic electrical accessories such as resistors, capacitors, transformers, inductors, coils, relays and contactors. This workshop is designed for those new the HVAC industry and who simply want a refresher course! The Basic Electricity Part 2 Troubleshooting workshop will be taught on October 25th so get prepped!Specific Training Course Objectives• Get acquainted with electrical current, voltage and resistance. • Understand OHM’s Law, the Universal Power Wheel and Basic Electrical Safety. • Understand the difference between conductors, insulators and semiconductors. • Gain the necessary knowledge-base to work with today’s current HVAC systems. • Get more comfortable with the electrical service aspects pertaining to HVAC systems.
