This one-day workshop will review the pre-studied Section 608 material to enhance the successful completion of the Section 608 HVAC Equipment and Refrigerant Certification Exam.
The certification exam will cover all environmental issues including:
Ozone depletion and global warming concerns, the operation of the air conditioning system, components, and accessories. Exam will separate small appliance, high-pressure and low-pressure air conditioning system operation and maintenance. Successful completion of this mandatory exam will allow you to legally purchase refrigerants and perform maintenance and service associated with the refrigerant circuit. The exam does not allow for the service and maintenance of motor vehicle air conditioning systems.
Prerequisite: The prerequisite for all attendees is to study the review booklet prior to class. This is the new Section 608 test and certification.  Technicians who are already EPA-certified do not have to re-test. Fawn Davis, Training Director will email you a PDF copy as soon as you register. Be sure to go through the material before attending the class and taking the exam.
